AED Training
An automated external defibrillator, or AED, is an electronic device that recognizes rhythm that requires a shock, and then prompts the rescuer to deliver the shock by pressing a button. AEDs are now commonplace in many public places, including healthclubs & spas, restaurants, theatres, and parks, as well as government office buildings and many workplaces.
NYC Local Law 20 of 2005 requires the presence of AEDs in many of the places listed above.
This concise, effective add-on course will teach you how to enhance your CPR skills and increase your chance of saving a life, by learning to use this easy-to-operate device. Real-life scenarios will lead you through an entire rescue scene.
Certification in CPR-Adult is a prerequisite.
